[Rule-list] RULE miniconda 0.1.1 test on PC #1

Finally back to RULE - at least for a short stop...

I booted with linux mem=8M since others succeded with it. The installer
booted fine, I set up the partitions with fdisk (maybe I should try
cfdisk next time). Then I started the install.sh, it asked for the RPM
disk. Bad luck, I/O error (I hate these floppies!). Weird enough, it
took the installer 7 minutes until finishing with signal 25 while
working hard on the hard drive (kswapd I guess).

Interesting side note: halt ended in a
kernel panic: Attempted to kill init!
*snicker*

BTW two enhancement requests:
1) I would like to use my German keyboard layout as soon as possible
during installation - it's tough to remember all these keys when they
are not visible on the keyboard...
2) Start another shell on VT2 so I can see what's going on when the
installer seems to hang...

I'm going to bed now, I guess I wait for 0.1.2 for my next test...

Best regards,
Martin Stricker
