Hi all....

Well I got a little further than Richard.....mine died when it was trying to
install dependencies for libpng....but I doubt even that!! I thought I had
run out of room because of the dependencies.....not so....I only have 8meg
used out of a possible 378. Don't think it installed anything. For new
directories I have dev, lost+found, proc. That's it!!!

Would it be possible to install a module (sbpcd.o) by hand??? I used to do
it with a little Slack clone called Doslinux....wayback. That was for ppp
and slhc tho....but could I not do the same here; out of Slinky's shell;
then proceed with the install using the rpm.gz??......I belive the insmod -f
would even take care of the kernel module mismatches.....I'm thinking, once
I have my cd online; then I could carry on with install just like
ide-cd.....

I think miniconda is still far too resource hungry to let the install carry
through....especially with the likes of the 486...pentium 150+ would be
allright....dunno just my thoughts...

Later...G
