[Rule-list] Emulating smaller memory sizes

Hello All

Just after booting and typing linux mem=xxM does change the initial
recognition of memory size but vt3 reports the actual size of memory just
after reporting anaconda floppy device fd0. At this point the partitioning
hasn't started yet, never mind the rest. Does this mean that only when the
physical ram size is actually reduced that a "true" test of less ram is
taking place?

Richard
