Might I suggest that you enter this as a "Request for enhancement" RFE
into bugzilla https://bugzilla.redhat.com/bugzilla/ because this affects
all Red Hat Linux users? This idea never occured to me since it is the
*expected* behavior of any newly installed system with slocate and
anacron installed... as is the "lockup" at 4 AM due to all those cron
jobs.
