I've been asked to clarify the above request, and since it may
interest others I'm doing it here.

The request refers to that part of Liam's message where he says "What
to aim for", and describes several useful configurations by listing
specific tasks (e.g. editing) and/or software packages (e.g. Xfree).

I meant to ask to Liam (or anybody else) if:

	1) he had actually configured a desktop or server
system in that way, removing every other unneeded RPM

	2) The system was complete, i.e. no installed RPM reporting
           missing files and/or broken dependencies

	3) (if answered yes to both points above) he could post the
output of rpm -qa on that system

	Ciao,
		Marco Fioretti
