I agree. For my scripts, I am trying to make use of busybox's wget to 
download them 1st, then continue as a hard drive install. Basically, the 
user would get to a point where he would let the installer know that 
ftp/http is the preferred method, then the script will quit, calling a 
download script, then that will quit & call the previous script again.

I can't really put it into technical terms, due to my unprofessional skills, 
but I'm refering to making use of "exec".

In short, I'm trying to agree with you. :^)
