Hi,
on the 24th of April I posted "Re: [RULE] Problem starting X (GUI)"
which set somehow a very positiv end to this thread. Thanks to the many
helpfull tips and the much pre-work from the Rule-Project our
association has now a very small and fast configuration. One problem
left is, that it is not easy to do this installation. May be, that the
steps I described help the even not so experienced computerfreak to get
his fluxbox running - but our projects target to completly novice not
even users in Kinshasa (Congo) and Zambia. I had a talk today with the
trainer who will be in August this year for 6 weeks in Zambia, and we
agreed that a more simple installation would be a big help. Unfortunatly
my own technical knowledge and experience on Linux is alredy at ist
limit. So we decided to ask through this list if the following could be
done:

Including or integrating the installation of TinyX and fluxbox into
slinky (as an additinoal option/alternativ to Gnome and KDE).

OR (if the above is not possible)

Building *one* rpm which installs TinyX and fluxbox on top of a
*Slinky-installed* RedHat9.

Bye for today, Ingo.
