Hi, all,

The subject line says it all, actually. Installation was straightforward: I
used dd to copy the floppy boot images to a couple of floppies, booted from
the slinky boot disk, put the first Red Hat 7.2 install cd in the drive, made
a slinky.config file with appropriate settings, executed the setup.sh,
inserted the disk2 floppy when prompted and then had supper while it was
installing. after a reboot it was done.

After the uneventful install, I did it again with a boot parameter of mem=8M.
Got the same results except that it took waay longer.

I didn't bother configuring X--I'll wait until I have Red Hat 9 and can try
Kdrive.

I'd just like to add that the test PC is the machine I first installed LInux
on, and I feel good knowing it's running Linux again.

Regards,

Ray
