What exactly will you need? I don't know if I, with my current
system setup, can build a 2.6/2.7 kernel, I run 2.4.x now...

Anyway, I can tell you if, with my current setup, 2.4.x versions
grow strangely. If you want me to build 2.4.x kernels with some
special setup, just tell.

For the 2.6 and 2.7 kernels, I can download one of each tree, do
a make allyesconfig and tell you the growing in size. Running them is
an issue for me, since I will need to upgrade some software I don't
want to upgrade, and anyway the speed perception is subjetive...

Do I download and build them? If I do, which kind of tests do you
want me to do? A 'strings'?, a 'size'?, just an 'ls'?
