Hello,

some weeks ago, I wrote this to the director of Ethipia ICT Focus magazine:

does ICT Focus already knowns and plans to cover the GPL RULE project
(http://www.rule-project.org/en/, recently installed in some Congo
schools)? It makes mainstream, up to date, Free SW easily installable
on older/recycled hardware, for individuals, schools, NGOs,
etc... especially in developing countries. Please don't hesitate to
contact me if you need an article, or any further information about
the project.

This week I got the answer below, with the addition: "If someone from
your project could participate in the event it would be a great opportunity
to introduce the project in Ethiopia."

I alreadi answered that I cannot go, unfortunately, but would pass the
invitation to the list. If somebody can make it (Ingo, are you VUM boys
able to do it?), please contact me off list. Any other feedback is welcome

Ciao,
Marco

The invitation:
It is my great pleasure to extend to you an invitation to participate in the

INFOCOM 2004 is the most important event on the local ICT calendar, bringing
together over 100 companies from across Ethiopia, Africa, Europe and America.

This year's INFOCOM 2004 will provide and discuss essential information on a
wide range of ICT issues, local content development, Internet, mobile
technology. Open Source Software Vs Proprietary software will also be a major
topic.

The INFOCOM 2004, exhibition and networking opportunities will appeal to
everyone from Product vendors to training providers, from system developers to
