Yes.

Note that Cpanel runs for *my* benefit, so that I don't have to administer 
user/password changes and new mailboxes for something like 800 human 
beings. If I did, the $75 in profit I am making from that server (only 
about 10 of the sites are mine, the rest are Carrie's, and of mine 7 are 
non-profit or my own) would quickly become unsatisfactory. <smile>

RULE has no need to install, use, or even be concerned about Cpanel; it 
will be entirely transparent. Cpanel will only benefit Marco by helping him 
admin user/pass, mailboxes, mailing lists, website, etc. in a nice GUI. But 
what we put into the webspace assigned on the server for the "ruleproj" 
user is entirely apart from it, and does not depend on it.

Should be fantastic for testing. Just use that to check whether pages are 
loading right and working well, then upload to the primary server. I use an 
old Sparc SS5 (110MHz, 48MB RAM, 1.5GB disk) for just that purpose on my 
other sites, and it does just fine. I'm currently running tests of 
phpgroupware and CommuniGate Pro on that box. :-)

As for the bandwidth, I'll try to check on how much we're using. But I 
would not guess that RULE in general is moving too much traffic, would you? 
I would expect maybe 50-100GB/month, primarily from ISO downloads. And I 
could hand over at least 100GB of traffic and maybe more (just gotta check 
on how much traffic we're really using).

Please note that there are also some ways in which we could generate a 
little money for the project (in order to cover some costs) by using these 
resources. For example, we could give people an email account with a 100MB 
mailbox and a "@rule-project.org" address for a year in exchange for a 
donation of $10 or something just to show support. I would have no 
objection to my resources being used to generate cash which was then 
reinvested in RULE.
