Qt is the library on which KDE is built on. Without Qt KDE cannot
function. Your description of Qt is quite to the point. ;=D One of the
reasons I like Gnome better (which is built on the GIMP tpplkit GTK+
which nowadays isn't much less hefty than Qt...).
