That's "clarify" BTW. I don't mind at all, I just thought you're the
type of person who would prefer and not object to the correction.

I could have given you the list of minimal packages; I've already
started to put FC3-T3 on a diet. I've only had one night to work on it
so far, but a quick two hours of work got FC3-T3 from 282/599 (packages
and megabytes) down to 241/510. 80MB of savings already.

You can see my work online [1] as it happens since I'm rewriting the
"Small Netserver HOWTO" with this as the first section. Please note that
this is a draft document, so do *NOT* post this link or URL to larger,
high-volume communities like Fedora-list since it will confuse people.
You are welcome to it, however, and all feedback or suggestions you can
offer is welcome.

I have also received from Karsten Hopp at Red Hat his (maybe her?) work
so far on the same subject. This is going to be *extremely* valuable
since he's got FC3-T3 down to (drum roll, please) 76/310. Clearly way
ahead of me... 200MB ahead.

I'll attempt to keep RULErs posted. I will also be posting and
discussing this on the fedora-minimal mailing list hosted on
Simpaticus.com, and putting everything I can into this draft doc. So it
should be pretty easy to keep track of where I am at any point in time.

Final comment: I do not yet have a downloadable package list or
kickstart file in that draft doc. I'll do the package list soon
(hopefully tonight or tomorrow), and kickstart when I figure it out.
<grin>

Cheers,
