We've become rather quiet again, I'm afraid. At the moment I do not believe
that any of us are actively working on the project, though I would be glad
to discover otherwise.

For myself, months ago I started writing some articles, but they are still
unfinished. Unfortunately, I'm not sufficiently skilled as a programmer to
offer input on the detect library.
