[Rule-list] minor mailing list changes

Two things I think we may want to do with the mailing list:

1. add the main website to the footer of the messages.
Marco, I think the footer should be changable in the mailman config.
So the footer would look like this:

_______________________________________________
Rule-list mailing list
Rule-list at mail.freesoftware.fsf.org
http://mail.freesoftware.fsf.org/mailman/listinfo/rule-list
Rule website
http://www.freesoftware.fsf.org/rule/
Rule Development Site
http://savannah.gnu.org/projects/rule/

Does this make sense?

2. add the info for the mailing list to the savannah web pages.
I think this was removed when we suggested making the list private.

I think the preferred solution was:
a. to have the link to the mailing list shown on the website:
b. only allow members to view the archives. This is a maybe
c. only allow admin to view the subscribers list - currently the case
d. obfuscate senders addresses - I think this is done ok as well since the
email is set to the list address
e. only allow members to post. not sure if this is the case or not.
This is almost required these days to prevent spam especially if (a) is
true.

Wait a minute, Either Marco is changing the site config or I am losing my
mind. The link is now visible at
<http://savannah.gnu.org/mail/?group_id=1219>

3. add links back to the website and development site from the mailing list
info page. This can be done in the mailman config.

Please comment on these ideas. They are just suggestions for discussion.

Chuck
