I used it for the first time the other day. It's an excellent rescue
disk. It does however have a license several pages long, and I didn't
want to just use someone elses boot disk. I wanted something different.
In fact, in my initial attempts, I used Tom's root boot disk to do the
partitioning, and make the file systems. Then my own disk to do the
rpm2cpio, etc.
Beside, try out Tom's application called unrpm--
It's broken in some nasty ways, and I really needed a way to extract the
cpio archive from the rpms.
