I have to agree.

In another lifetime, I was a Game master on an online fantasy
role-playing game. (After leaving, one of the founders of that game and I
began a rewrite of the game engine that is still in progress, but I
digress...)
Every time I saw a player use 'rulez', "CUL8R', or any thing like that,
it made my skin crawl. Still does. Wrong or not, I have always associated
it with teen aged script kiddies.
Therapy may help. :) Until then, let's try to avoid it, if possible? :)
