A network install should be possible with slinky via ftp or http. You'll
need the module(s) for your network controller. If you are trying this
via the serial port, it may require some tweaking to the scripts.
NFS installs are not handled currently, feel free to modify the scripts
and send the patches along. :) You could also set up a http or ftp server
on your linux desktop machine for the install as well.
You can download the modules for the installer kernel from my server.

The only place I can think of that you'll have a problem is when the
installer wants disk2. You'll need to copy the disk2 image to the hard
drive, and modify the setup.sh script so that it looks in the right place
and mounts it as a loop device. Or perhaps copy the files as you did with
the boot disk, and just point the install script at them.
Good luck, and have fun!
