Hello All
Installed Slinky 0.2.3 with only network and ssh chosen from options on my
Athlon (#17 in Benoit's list) and it works as an nfs server for other Slinky
installs on other computers. However, installing with the same options on 2
different 586's (both from local cd and over the net from the athlon)
refuses to start nfsd. Then by putting in 32 MB of memory into one of these
586's (each had 16MB originally) and using the standard anaconda in text
mode, choosing server and nfs server options (but not keeping ftp server)
the 586 is able to start nfsd.
There are 3 sets of logs with dmesg, boot.log & either install_log or
rpmpkgs,
some of which has been sent directly to Michael. The most likely thing is an
error
by me and I will gladly do anything again to help get to the bottom of this.
Richard
