Use the boot disk, and boot the machine. Skip the (dd updates) boot
parameters, those only apply to anaconda or miniconda.
Once you have a shell:
o insert the pcmcia disk.
o mount it. (mount /dev/fd0 /mnt/floppy)
o execute /mnt/floppy/setup_pcmcia.sh
o follow instructions on screen.
o make sure /scripts/init_network.sh is correct.
o execute /scripts/pcmcia.sh
o If everything went well, run 'ifconfig eth0' and it should show your
network is up. If not, let me know, and please include any output from
the above commands.
o umount /mnt/floppy and remove the disk.
o insert disk2, but don't mount it. The installer will ask for it.
o execute /scripts/setup.sh

The installer will ask for disk2 when it is needed.

No, you should be fine. I know, I really need to sit down and go over all
the documentation....
Good luck, give a yell if you run into trouble. ;)
