[RULE] Problem starting X (GUI)

thanks for the fast reply and for the very interesting set of commands.

xfs is stopped - well this was because I tryed it with static fonts.
Seems as if this was not a good idea.

Ok, I did this and started the XFS manually afterwards.

its running now

ok, I put the XFConfig back to this state

And the result is, that now we have some "GUI" - but it is not Gnome,
and I do not know what it is, please have a look at these pictures:
