I untared this one file now onto the rulified machine -> 
xinit: no such file or directory ... unable to connect to X server.

Seems as if it would need some more configuration which I am not capable
to do now.  My personal impression is, that we better pause at this
point.  Anyhow thank for the tip. Ingo.
