First of all, sincere thanks to Michael for packaging!!

I had not realized this (because I usually install Perl before
anything else). I agree that for a screenshot tool alone 56 extra meg
are a shameful overkill. *IF* the box is only used for Abiword,
browsing and email, that is. Anything just a bit more sophisticated
would require Perl sooner or later anyway. But I digress.
1) YES, we have to find something with much less dependencies than
this for screenshot grabbing (or repackage it): ideas?
2) What of the packages listed by Michael brought Perl in?

Can you provide details on this?

Theoretically, the --nodeps option is reserved to *very* seasoned RH
users who really know what they are doing (I don't place myself at
this level of gurudom). In practice, if is not a mission critical
server, and one doesn't pretend to make a rock-solid, general purpose,
heavily customized system (see the *IF*) above, nobody should yell at
you (not too angrily, anyway).
As a matter of fact, we have to find a general solution, and what you
were forced to do might very possibly just be the last in a very long
series of encounters with broken RPM packaging, not yours or RULE's
fault. That's why I'd really like to know which errors/warnings forced
you to go that route.
Ciao,

PS: I received the data for your computer, thanks.
