Hello,
I finally had the possibility to download the latest ISO, and install
it on my P133/32 MB RAM laptop. I also installed OOo, just to see what
would happen. Launching it, ie letting it run its first time setup
script, the following message appeared in xterm:
/usr/sbin/lpc: no such file or directory
lpc: command not found
lpstat: command not found
On my desktop I see:
[marco at polaris marco]$ rpm -qf /usr/bin/lpstat
cups-1.1.17-13
[marco at polaris marco]$ rpm -qf /usr/sbin/lpc
file /usr/sbin/lpc is not owned by any package
Furthermore, I don't remember seeing in the slinky install process
(which was smooth like silk!) any mention of printing stuff. Was I
just distracted?
Ciao, and thanks again to Michael!
