switchdesk is included only to satisfy a dependency for xinitrc.
I'd rather install a small package then leave an unmet dependency.
Timezones are somewhat complicated. I hate to add another listing of many
possible options. Have a look at /usr/share/zoneinfo/ and it's
subdirectories....
It doesn't halp that the busybox shell (ash clone) lacks a "select"
builtin. At least then I could generate a menu list.
However, for anyone who is installing Red Hat 9 and either XFree or TinyX
(which pulls in XFree) I've added a package option for date/time config.
The user can run redhat-config-date and set the timezone. For others, it's
a matter of creating/editing /etc/sysconfig/clock, and creating a symlink
from /etc/localtime to /usr/share/zoneinfo/{somezone_file}

I'd rather leave it at present. Unless we repackage xinitrc and include it
on the .iso.
