Hello!
This is Markus in Kinshasa!
Thanks 4 the help so far, i,m still working on the mouse problem, and will
maybe ask again something on this topic, but now another question.
following situation: i found, that both, our rulified RH-Linux as also his
big brother RH9 has some problems with the french keyboard-layout. we edited
the file /etc/sysconfig/keyboard in the following way
KEYBOARDTYPE="pc"
KEYTABLE="fr"
to have the french keytable. but if you press for examlpe the 2, 7 or 9 on
an english keyboard you should get french e's with "'" respective "`"
(=akcent) the c with the hook at the bottom and the a with "`", but our system gives
us just {,},/ and @. a xterm in tinyX and all X Software under tinyX does the
same. In XFree86 it works. Any ideas?
if anybody would be o kind to surf on the net for me, this would be fine.
The cybercafe here ist expensive and slow. Even sending EMails over the
weinterface is a torture. (i write the emails in our office and bring them on disk
to the cybercafe...)
thank you in advance...
Markus
