For the record, the same thing happens when trying nfs or ftp install
from floppy. More exactly:
I enter the nfs or ftp parameters
It says in both cases:
Testing connectivity...
ping: -c: Unknown host
Failed to ping selected host
This is with a PCMCIA network adapter in the laptop
