Possible merger with the UbuntuLite project

In October 2007 I (Marco) and Shae Smittle, leader of Ubuntu-Lite, discussed if it would make sense to merge the two projects, since they seemed to have many goals in commons and many possibilities to reuse already developed material. To us it seemed that the idea made sense, so we submitted it to the respective communities. Eventually nothing happened simply, and again, for lack of time on our (RULE) side, but the idea did make sense. You can read why on the UbuntuLite website, where Shae published (thanks!) our email conversation about merging RULE and UbuntuLite.

RULE = Run Up to Date Linux Everywhere
