[RULE] Redhat and not exactly

Hello All

As one of our aims is to provide support to users of older and less common hardware we could provide a couple of variations on the stock kernel, together with the appropriate modules both on the site and on the iso.

Originally, the thought of moving further away from working with just the stock rpm's seemed counter to being able to claim that a user could expect Redhat to provide support. Obviously, as things have evolved, it is now the case that some users, for whom Redhat support is important, can choose to work with stock-only options, while others need to use wider options pointed out and (to some extent) provided by RULE. Everyone, however, continues to be in the strong position of being able to follow advice aimed at the wide audience of Redhat users, as well as, obviously, to get particular help from RULE.

Richard
