[RULE] Kernel loading problems (CD-install)

Dan,
	I have an idea but it will take me until tomorrow or Monday to
implement it.  Basically, I will try to replace the kernel of the slinky
boot disk image with the one from the RH 8 CD, since that seems to boot
for you.  Once I have created & done a basic sanity check on the image,
I can serve it up here on my DSL line and you can download it from
there.  At what time of day would you be likely to try to get it?  We
can install the kernel on your system by hand, if we are able to get a
shell.

	From the details below, you should definitely have sufficient space for
the installation, as long as you are not trying to install every option
offered by the RULE installer for RH 8.
