Localization requirements for the RULE project

  • Everything not needed must be not installed, or removed right after install. I refer to any documentation in unwanted languages, to directories like /usr/share/locale/ (more than four megs on my PC, including flags, even if I have KDE here for other users)
  • It must be possible to use two languages, and have all their special characters supported, but maybe the documentation only in one of them. It is very common, for example, to have english documentation (more complete, up to date), and write both in english and one’s mother tongue.
  • As already said somewhere else, EURO symbol, please!
  • What else?
