Data loss of RULE server and new version of Slinky

Greetings,

a couple of weeks ago the server hosting the RULE website was updated to newer versions of PHP and/or Mysql. This made the CMS system we use, SPIP, stop working. Very probably, this is due to some Php/Mysql server setting that must be corrected.

We are working to fix it but unfortunately, due to urgent work and family needs of all those who could fix the problem, nothing is going to happen until july 6 or 7.

Not all is lost, however. The RULE download area is still accessible.

Thanks to F. Zahaurek, there is a new version of the slinky installer for Fedora Core 3 at. Its main characteristics are explained at http://www.fzk.at/SLINKY/, but please download all the corresponding
files from (broken link) http://www.rule-project.org/download/fedora_core_3/slinky/slinky-v0.5.01, to not overload Franz’s server.

Also, if you need support, the RULE mailing list is still available at: you can browse its archive or ask there (requires subscription!) about any question or problem you might have. Thank you for your interest in the project and your patience with the website!
