[RULE] kde from RULE

Hello All

Is it better to keep this thread away from any specific install?

Given a box capable of running kde, a standard anaconda install is simple but
hardly goes along with "less is more." If one starts with, say Slinky, but
wishes to end up with kde is it possible without as much bloat? What is
involved?

A specific example is a fairly new Toshiba Satellite 1800-S204 (a.k.a.
1800-412) with built-in dvd, nic, 20GB disk, 512 MB sdram (test form sent off
to Marco.)

Richard
